Sicuramente nello scarso panorama musicale che c'e' in giro,questo e' uno di quei cd che si puo' acquistare a scatola chiusa se piace il genere Southern americano.Chitarre belle taglienti,riff giusti,hammond e ottimi musicisti come contorno.Da avere.Se siete amanti dell'America on the road,dei panorami in mezzo al deserto del Nevada compratelo!

I saw this band at the Edmonton Blues Festival in August. They were fabulous....I've seen many cigar box guitars but never knew the strings could be set up this way. It was amazing 1 bass string 3 guitar strings what an amazing sound.

Dernier et troisième album du duo américain Moreland and Arbuckle qui s'entoure d'autres musiciens histoire d'étoffer leur production. Alternant les interventions de guitare furieusement slidée et les lignes d'harmonica, le groupe arrange ses compositions en écorchant le son qui égratigne nos esgourdes par cette volonté de restituer une ambiance garage. Parmi des compositions originales, nous rencontrons 4 reprises dont une de Tom Waits « Heartattack and Wine » et une de Steve Crooper « White Lightnin » dans laquelle il y joue un petit solo de guitare. Album estimable qui, à défaut de nous surprendre, est assez agréable à écouter pendant les suffisantes 48mn que durent les 12 titres proposés.

ギターリストAaron Moreland、ハーピスト、ボーカリストDustin Arbuckleを中心としたカンサスのパワーブルースロックトリオ、Moreland & Arbuckleによる５作目となる新作。
今まで以上にヘヴィで歪ませたギターが強烈なブルースロック。
重量級のデルタ、シカゴなブルースロック、ハードで泥臭いギターリフに、縦横無尽のブルースハープ、ワイルドなボーカルが最高。
アコースティック・カントリー＆ブルースナンバーをなくしてしまったのは残念だが、その分不穏なブルースギターリフや鍵盤で変化を付けつつ、一貫した圧倒的なロック感で迫る。
Steve Cropperが１曲リードギターで参加、Tom Waits「Heartattack and Vine」、Howlin「Who Will Be Next」も迫力のカバー。
まさにザ・アメリカなブルーズロックアルバム。

Bought thgis after seeing them live. Take a mix of ZZ Top, Canned Heat, Burnside, Kimborough and the North Mississippi Hil Stars and you have Kansas Cuty's Moreland & Arbuckle, fabulous music superbly and roclin' like mad, earthy dancing blues, BUY IT 1

I lived in Kansas for 5 years - how did I ever miss these guys? I don't get out enough! I made it half way through Brown Bomber & jumped on line & ordered "Flood". Unique, sludgey, low down, bottom of the jar blues rock. The only music I can equate with this style is "Rhythmeen" by ZZ Top. But it's still it's own thing. What kind of amp do you plug a cigar box guitar into? Great vocals & down south harp. Really like this.
