Siamo nel 2013. Ma si continuano a stampare dvd senza l'audio originale. Copia modesta, mediocre. E s'inganna scrivendo che l'edizione speciale contenga 2 dvd!

Ho scelto la versione in lingua originale per poter sentire la vera voce degli attori.
Il prodotto, qualità/prezzo, è un po' caro.

La storia è interessante ma secondo me il ritmo è un pò troppo lento, a tratti quasi insopportabile.
In compenso molto bravi gli attori, tutti al loro meglio.

This film is brilliantly and beautifully filmed, cast, written, acted and scored. Slow burn plot that is a great ride all the way. Romy and Alain smoulder and perform perfectly. I love this movie; current favorite. Soundtrack is also fantastic! I've watched it an obscene numbers of time it's so great! Take a dip in this swimming pool. May be your new favorite film.

Moi, je l'ai dégusté en salle, et à l'époque. Toutes sortes d'échos, dans ma vie. D'où nostalgie. Quant à une hypothétique objectivité... peut-être un autre jour. Superbe de bout en bout, et "c'était mieux avant".

This DVD set is of excellent quality. It’s a two set box. Disc one is in French but with no option for subtitles in any language. Disc two is the English version with the option of French subtitles. Both French and English-language versions of the film were made, with the actors filmed speaking English for the international release, which was unusual at a time when film were always either dubbed or subtitled. The 114-minute international release, shorter than the French version, also had a slightly different editing.
There are also some clips of interviews with Alein Delon and Romy Schneider.
I love this film. You have to watch it more than once and it gets better each time. The first time you watch it you feel like nothing is happening and then towards the end it’s explosive. Watch it again and you get it. It’s so nice to watch it in English as you can concentrate on the actors and the meaningful glances. Romy Schneider is absolutely stunning. Alain Delon of course is his usual gorgeous self. Jane Birkin though is so mediocre. She’s underwhelming and an overrated actress. Very pretty but very dull. Luckily it does not affect the film because the other three actors are superb.

4K Disk läuft nicht....

Leider läßt sich der Film nicht komlett abspielen, da er ab ca. 50 min. hängt. Danach geht gar nichts mehr.
Bild wäre ganz in Ordnung. Allerdings ist es schlecht komprimiert, was sofort auffällt (65" OLED).
Ansonsten sieht es zumindest in hellen Szenen sehr ordentlich aus. Auch das Filmkorn ist sehr sauber und fein.
Ton und UT sind nur in französisch vorhanden was sehr mager ist.

Das Mediabook an sich ist recht schlicht in matter Oberfläche gehalten und macht einen wertigen Eindruck.

Aber (!!!): Wie gesagt 4k Disk läuft nicht (Sony X800M2 mit neuster Firmware). Somit nicht kaufen.
